Students as Leaders
AEL students will become aware of the interrelationship between the environment and the community. Equipped with appropriate tools, students will develop their leadership skills.
Teachers as Facilitators
AEL faculty members operate as facilitators rather than lecturers. Teachers engage students as partners in their education enriching the overall learning experience and yielding desired performance results.
Parents as Partners
Parents and teachers often look at students’ learning from different perspectives, but they share a common goal. This creates opportunities for innovative collaborations in support of the students.

In our commitment to excellence, equity, and inclusivity, we nurture well-rounded leaders who are prepared for the 21st century by empowering every student to excel academically, think critically, and contribute positively to society, through collaboration with our community.
The AEL community seeks to create leaders who will graduate within four years by demonstrating their college and career readiness, while cultivating the ability to be independent, resilient, and culturally responsive global citizens.
Instructional Focus
Students will be exposed to texts in each content area, that range in reading levels and help improve their reading comprehension skills in order provide evidence to support a claim.
